In sweetest Memory

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together....

GEC S*Granboet's Odessa 20.12.2008 - 23.06.2013 /  blue-silver-classic-torbie / white

(HCM negative - tested on 01-12-2010 and on 09-11-2012 by Dr. Kresken)

(GSD IV normal - both parents / ancestors were tested GSD IV normal)

Odessa - 2 years + 11,5 months old

In 2009, Thomas told me to choose a new kitten for my birthday - and when he told me this, I knew immediately which one I wanted and was sooo happy when I received the email from Ann-Louise that this wonderful girl would be mine...

Odessa is a big-framed girl with a strong boning, a nice triangular head and big ears with small lynx tips. Her profile is long and straight and her NFO - expression is just adorable. She has a wonderful distribution of colours and we are so happy about her super-long tail with the cute white tail tip   Apart from this, she is a little purring machine and loves to head-but us as soon as we talk to her. She is a real sun-ray and we are sooo in love with her!

I want to thank Ann-Louise and Peter and of course my  husband Thomas for this gorgeous birthday present which I am so happy about. Thank you!

Unfortunately, she had problems delivering her third litter and due to a torsion of the uterus, she needed a caesarian and had to be neutered at the same time. We are so sad about having lost her as a breeding female but of course happy and relieved that she is doing fine.

Odessa is the mother of our following litters: M2-Litter, I2-Litter and X3-Litter.

Unfortunately, fate has not been kind to our beloved Odessa: Since March 2013, we have - together with our vet -  waged a desperate battle against her meningitis and experienced some ups and downs in the months leading up to 23.06.2013 and fluctuated repeatedly between hope when it went back to her feeling really well and the disease seemed defeated, and despair when she was worse again. On 23.06.2013 Odessa suffered the worst relapse and we will never forget the fear in her eyes. Our vet saw no chance of cure and a cat dignified life for her, either, so we had to let her go. Odessa fell asleep in my hands forever. This leaves a great void, the question of the Why and the certainty that Odessa will forever have a place in our hearts

D*Koeni's Iliani  26.08.2013 - 12.07.2014 /  cream-classic-tabby / white

GSD4: n/n by parentage

PK Def. (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency): n/n by parentage

Iliani - 8 months old

Iliani is our star of both eyes - she had a very difficult start into life and was initially a real "problem child", but she has made it and of course we are very attached to her after a hard struggle for her life

Iliani was born as the smallest in the litter, but is now catching up and we hope that she will grow into a normal-sized cat. We will allow her all the time that she needs for her development. She is a harmoniously built girl with a beautiful triangular head with an almost straight profile, a very strong chin, large and perfectly placed ears and beautiful eyes.

However, the best thing about her is her temperament - she is just soooo lovely and charming and  manages to wrap us around her paw in no time at all. She knows exactly how to get what she wants ...

From the beginning, Iliani was very unimmunized  and weak and we knew that she would not become old. In the evening of the 12th July 2014,  she showed us very clearly that she wasn't able to carry on and didn't want to, either.  We were close to her when she fell asleep forever. In spite of our grief about her, we are still thankful to have been able to share some precious months with her.

GEC D*Koeni´s Geeny  24.09.1997 - 17.09.2014 / black-classic-torbie / white

(PKD negative, HCM negative - tested on 21-06-2005 by Dr. Kresken)

Geeny - 8 years + almost 4 months old

Geeny is the girl I have always dreamed of! I always wanted a girl in torbie (of course she had to be classic:-) with one half of the face in red and one in black - and there she was!!! Right in our first litter as firstborn kitten! We knew that we would keep her from the very first moment on. She proves to us every day that this was absolutely the right decision with her loving temperament and the nonsense she is still doing like a kitten. AND: she had eight wonderful litters (without any problems at all) so far which also proves her quality as a breeding queen.

Even before her last litter was procreated, we had decided that this would be her last litter even though Geeny delivered also this litter without any difficulties in spite of her "age". Geeny was neutered on 04-08-2006 and she is now enjoying her well-deserved retirement with us. She was an extraordinary breeding queen and we are very proud of this special and wonderful girl!

She is the mother of our T-litter, R-litter, N-litter, E-litter, C-litter, B-litter, A-Litter and of our G2-Litter.

Of course, we knew that Geeny wouldn't live forever and because of her age, she became thinner and weaker (but has always had perfect blood values in her blood-tests every six months). We had hoped for her to live to see the summer 2014 and this wish was fulfilled. In the morning of the 17th September 2014, it was time to let her go - and she fell asleep forever in my arms. We will always miss this very special cat and words cannot describe the pain inside our souls. Love you forever, Geeny!

World Champion S*Beyond American Girl  13.11.2007 - 02.08.2022 / blue / white

(HCM negative - tested 10.11.2009, 24.11.2011 and 19.11.2015 by Dr. Kresken)

(GSD IV normal - Laboklin 10/2008)

American Girl - 5 years + 2,5 months old

Our "Blueberry Girl" is absolutely terrific... When I saw the planned mating at the S*Beyond plans-page, I was so thrilled that I had to directly write an email to this breeder hoping that she would consider me for one of these future kittens... Not only does our blue mouse have a gorgeous and beautiful mother (Ch. S*Rockringen's Gasolina) out of the cattery that I have always adored so much, but she has also this special male as her father that is in my view - directly after Pan's Truls - the best example of his breed: EC S*Heaven Hill's Big Bang! I almost couldn't believe it when after some long months of waiting time, I finally got the confirmation that this blue and white four-pawed dream would be mine...

American Girl, or Girly - as we call her - is a very large and strongly built girl with a long body and the expression of her father. She has a fantastic triangular head with a straight profile and wonderful big ears with XXL-lynx tips. She has a very friendly temperament and managed to charm us completely within only a few moments:-)

Our big thanks go to Bibbi (S*Beyond) and her twin-sister Barbro (S*Rockringen's), that they have made this dream come true for us. We promise that we will always take good care of this special girl

Unfortunately, Girly did not get pregnant again after her third litter even though we tried with different males - so we decided with a heavy heart to have her neutered in July 2013. After the neutering surgery, our vet told us that Girly had a huge cyst on one of her ovaries which explained why she couldn't get pregnant anymore. She now enjoys her life as a happy neuter with us and we are so happy to be able to keep her here with us. We are very happy to be able to continue these very special and wonderful lines in our breeding program.

American Girl is the mother of our following litters: N2-Litter, B2-Litter and V2-Litter.

We were devasted to let our beloved Blueberry Girl pass the Rainbow Bridge on 2nd August 2022 - she had not been feeling well for quite some time, but we could help her with pain killers for several months. But we have to let our beloved furry family members go when they let us know that it is time... We miss our Girly terribly.

World Champion D*Koeni's Zippo  04.08.2012 - 14.02.2023 / red-smoke (non-agouti confirmed - genetest by Laboklin 04/2013)

HCM: negative - tested 15.11.2013, 30.10.2014 and 18.09.2017 by Dr. Kresken

GSD4: n/n by parentage

PK Def. (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency): n/n - Biofocus 11/2013

Zippo - 2 years + 6,5 months old

Finally, we have our red male! I had been searching for a red male for such a long time - I wanted him to be classic and preferably also with silver and now, we got such a male in our own litter   So the decision to keep him was already made when he was just born...

Zippo is a very big and strongly built boy with a very beautiful triangular head, a ruler straight profile, strong chin, perfectly placed ears with small lynx tips and very stunning green eyes. He has strong legs and big paws and a long tail. In short, Zippo is very close to being perfect in our eyes   In addition to his outer qualities, he has an absolutely adorable temperament and purrs when we just look at him. He loves having his belly rubbed and is just soooo adorable!

Zippo ended his show carreer with the highest possible title. His show results are really very amazing!

We are more than happy that our dream of a red boy finally became reality. To us, he is perfect inside and outside.

On 27.02.2019, Zippo was neutered and will now enjoy his retirement with us.

Zippo is the father of our following litters: B3-Litter, G3-Litter, F3-Litter, Q3-Litter, A3-Litter

Zippo is the father of the "G2-Litter of Dandy Blue".

We have always been afraid of the day when it would be time to let Zippo go and unfortunately, on 14th February, we had to make this decision for him. Zippo showed us after being very ill for a short time that he could not go on anymore and so we had to release him. We were both with him when he passed eway - he died in my arms. We will miss this very special boy forever!
